The Correlation Between Students’ Vocabulary Mastery And Speaking Ability of Eight-Grade Students at MTs Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura

In an era of increasingly advanced globalization, the ability to speak English is essential keep up with changing times. This study was analyze correlation between students' vocabulary mastery and speaking skills grade eight students at MTs Negeri 1 Tanjung Pura. The sample this 15 class VIII B which were taken by using a purposive sampling technique. correlational method in quantitative design statistical tests describe measure two or more variables. Correlation Product Moment formula SPSS used determine if there degree skills. From data analysis it found that skill Pura level value 0,559 55,90 % on “Fair” Correlation.
